Welcome Emily Seitz to the Office of College Grants

The Office of College Grants is very excited to welcome Emily Seitz back to F&M as associate director. Emily served in a part-time role as assistant director for Fellowships and Grants in OCG from 2017-2019, during which time she worked with faculty in the humanities and social sciences in developing proposals and facilitated grant writing workshops for all faculty. Since 2018, she served first as a part-time scientific grant writer and then as development director at the Clinic for Special Children in Strasburg. Emily holds a Ph.D. in history and Women's Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Penn State. As the associate director of OCG she will support faculty in grants management at all stages in the life cycle of external funding, including proposal and budget development, navigating submission and reporting procedures, and assistance with finding appropriate funding sources. We are so pleased to welcome Emily, her husband Mat and her three young children to the F&M community!
